SENIOR WORLDWIDE TRAVEL CONSULTANT FULLY REMOTE – ANYWHERE IN THE UK EXCELLENT SALARY PLUS EXCITING COMMISSION Our Customer: Join a well-established tour operator with over 20 years of expertise in creating exceptional holidays worldwide as a Senior Worldwide Travel Consultant. In this role, you'll be an integral part of a dynamic team focused primarily on B2B sales through trade channels, with some involvement in direct sales.
The team members possess firsthand knowledge of the destinations featured, having lived or traveled there extensively. They collaborate exclusively with top-tier hotels and local representatives to craft journeys that consistently delight their clients.
As a Senior Worldwide Travel Consultant, you will be essential in delivering the highest standard of service and expertise to our customers.
You will enjoy the flexibility of 100% remote working, along with the opportunity to participate in regular team get-togethers, including business-wide trips and at least one family trip per year, among other benefits.
Job Description: In this role, you will work directly with clients or trade partners to understand their needs in detail, curating journeys that exceed their expectations.
- Continuously research and stay updated on worldwide travel destinations, including their attractions, accommodations, transportation options, and local customs
- Create customised travel itineraries tailored to each client's preferences, ensuring a unique and fulfilling travel experience
- Work with sales support to ensure all bookings and documentation is delivered on time, accurately
- Offer ongoing support to clients before, during, and after their trip, addressing any concerns, providing travel tips, and ensuring a smooth travel experience
- Build and maintain strong relationships with travel industry partners, including travel agencies, tour operators, hotels, airlines, and tourism boards, to expand the business network and access exclusive deals and offers
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices through training, conferences, workshops, and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and expertise in travel planning and sales
Experience Required: - 5-10 years of experience in worldwide tailor-made travel
- Experienced in selling Asia and/or Australasia
- Excellent knowledge of global destinations
- Track record of delivering outstanding customer service promptly and efficiently
- Target driven
