Who you’ll be working for:
 
We are thrilled to recruit for this multiple award-winning, niche travel business who are looking to add a Sales Director - Eastern USA to their close-knit travel trade sales team, reporting directly to the Vice President of Sales North America.
 
 
What you’ll do:
 
In the vibrant landscape of North American sales, this Sales Director role closely collaborates with the Vice President of Sales, presenting an exciting opportunity to establish market influence. You will need to outperform sales objectives by nurturing strong connections within the industry by establishing impactful business relationships. The immediate objective revolves around formulating a clever sales strategy in harmony with national goals. Exploiting every existing and potential relationship, the focus is on maximising opportunities and broadening market reach.
 
At the heart of the excitement is the management and expansion of sales channels for wholesale and retail travel advisors. The secret sauce for success in this dynamic position lies in a rich travel industry background and well-knit relationships within the travel industry.
 
As the Sales Director your role brings the sales strategy to life, delivering impactful training and propelling growth in the trade sector within Eastern USA.
 
 
 What they’re looking for
  • Proven track record of regional, national or global business development and account management sales team leadership within travel (tour operations or cruise or expedition or adventure travel)
  • A true collaborative, hands on (non-micro management leader)
  • Willing to travel as needed
  • A real networker who enjoys being the ‘face’ of a brand
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the natural ability to impress
  • Skilled in time management
  • Proficient in digital networking
  • Great decision maker and problem solver who can multi-task

  • Familiar with CRM tools like Salesforce, and excellent with MS Office
