  • Lead local guide performance optimisation and management.
  • Ensure exceptional guest experiences through effective guide oversight.
  • Take a hands-on approach to guide management, including recruitment, training, and scheduling.
  • Continuously monitor guide performance and enhance processes and systems.
  • Lead guide recruitment and onboarding to meet company standards.
  • Collaborate with the People Experience Team and Global Head of Tour Operations to maintain a comprehensive training program.
  • Equip guides with necessary resources.
  • Maintain performance metrics to assess guide quality.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and support to guides.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure top-quality service.
  • Stay updated on industry trends.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive guide culture.
  • Organise guide social events within budget.
  • Act as a liaison between guides and non-guides.
  • Manage guide schedules based on seasonal needs.
  • Collaborate on safety and incident protocols.
  • Optimise guide management systems.
Experience Required:
  • Previous guide experience or leadership within a guide network.
  • At least 3 years of team leadership, preferably remote.
  • Recruitment and training expertise preferred.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in various software applications.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Data-driven decision-making proficiency.
  • Familiarity with incident management processes.
  • Location: New York.
