These strategies have consistently driven organic growth for an extended period.
In recent years, they’ve undergone a transformation, redefining their core offerings and refreshing the brand identity. In 2020, the company completed a comprehensive overhaul of its website, and this effort continues to evolve.
This home-based Digital Marketing Manager position, offers the opportunity to fully flex your digital marketing expertise. With a genuine passion for luxury travel in Africa, you will also have the chance to visit destinations first-hand and experience the product.
What you’ll do:
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Digital Marketing Executive to take the next step in their career by becoming a Digital Marketing Manager within the specialist luxury Africa travel sector.
As Digital Marketing Manager, you will boost the brand's social media presence across multiple platforms, create engaging and optimised content, and implement an effective SEO strategy. With exceptional writing skills and deep knowledge of digital marketing best practices, you will work closely with the management team to shape and execute the future marketing strategy.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Developing and implementing a strategic integrated marketing plan to support growth objectives
  • Directing social media efforts across platforms like Instagram and Facebook to align with brand identity and voice
  • Producing creative and targeted email campaigns for a segmented marketing database
  • Working closely with freelance content creators to optimise website content, establish an editorial calendar, and grow the community of contributors
  • Conducting in-depth analysis of data and metrics to monitor and optimise marketing performance and ROAS
  • Staying on top of digital marketing trends and innovations to inform future strategies
The company is an established yet growing brand within the owner-operated luxury sector. For the right candidate with initiative, there is significant scope here to drive growth by developing the marketing function.

 What they’re looking for
  • Genuine passion for luxury Africa travel
  • 3-5 years' proven experience in an executive digital marketing role
  • Outstanding grasp of the written English word – exceptional grammar and punctuation
  • Expert knowledge of email marketing, SEO/SEM, social media strategy and data analytics
  • Strong commercial acumen and presentation/stakeholder liaison skills
  • Excellent copywriting ability across different formats and channels
  • Relevant marketing qualifications such as CIM or IDM
