Responsibilities:

As a Part-Time Freelance Business Development Manager in the travel industry, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Leveraging your extensive B2B contacts within the UK travel industry to identify new business opportunities.
  • Cultivating and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, including travel agencies, airlines, tour operators, and other industry partners.
  • Growing and developing the existing market map to identify new business opportunities.
  • Developing and implementing a strategic sales plan to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Meeting and exceeding sales targets through proactive prospecting, lead generation, and negotiations.
  • Collaborating with the management team to refine sales strategies and tactics.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and competitive insights to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Managing your own schedule and working independently to achieve results.
  • Reporting regularly on sales activities and progress.

  
Experience required:

  • Proven track record in B2B sales within the UK travel industry.
  • Extensive contacts and a strong network in the travel sector.
  • Previous experience working freelance on a self-employed basis.
  • Hunter-style sales mentality with a passion for achieving and surpassing targets.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
